The initial kit of ASL GRP ARC – Attack Resistant Composite has been fitted to the first Szczesniak vehicle, set for the Polish Police force. The crowd protection vehicle is now armoured from front cab to box body in our Attack Resistant Composite, which will provide protection against petrol bombs, light arms and projectiles such as hammers or pick axes (click to see testing example).
All ARC – Attack Resistant Composite parts, both moulded and flat panels, were manufactured in the ASL GRP factory and transported to Poland for fitment. The original Scania cab has been clad in moulded ARC, so on the surface, appears to be OEM. The ASL GRP team fitted the first kit on the Polish Szczesniak site, with a second to be fitted before Christmas.
