ASL GRP are joining forces with renowned catamaran designers Cheetah Marine, to develop and manufacture armoured patrol vessels.
ASL GRP (Air Sea Land Group) have over 30 years experience in the armour and defence industry, and have been manufacturing their protective products from their Sandown factory for 6 years. Products that range from ballistic blankets, that protect against the fragmentation of an explosive device, to bespoke armour kits for military vehicles, are shipped to clients around the world.
The original Cheetah catamaran was designed in 1989 and after the advantages of the design were widely recognised, Cheetah Marine began production in 1991. Today, bespoke catamarans are still designed and built in Ventnor, each with its own unique features yet still retaining the core attributes of the original Cheetah cat.
